We will pay the reasonable costs for an economy class airfare return journey should the need arise to return home for medically necessary hospital treatment.

We have three levels of flexible cover for you to choose from. Depending on whether you would like regional or international cover, how much of an annual benefit you would like to be covered for, and whether or not you would like any additional coverage, you will be able to build a plan to suit your healthcare needs and budget. You can select any of the four tiers of our UAE network of healthcare providers. Our extensive network in the UAE ranges from the General level, that excludes some of the high cost hospitals and medical practitioners, to the Comprehensive level, that gives access to all of our network of hospitals and medical practitioners within the UAE. Regardless the network tier that you select, we have arranged claims settlement on a direct billing basis in most cases for authorised in-network treatment.
Our Cigna Healthguard℠ regional plans cover you in the UAE, other countries of the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC), Middle East and Asia (excluding Singapore, Hong Kong, and China). Our International and International Plus plans provide worldwide cover, either including or excluding coverage in the USA. For additional peace of mind, all our plans include emergency short-term medical coverage in a country outside of your selected area of coverage.
Yes, our Global Telehealth service gives you access to licensed doctors around the world for non-emergency health issues. We can arrange an appointment to call you back, often on the same day, or you can arrange a telephone or video consultation from the Cigna Wellbeing™ app.
All our customers have access to our Clinical Case Management programme which provides personalised support and assistance from our dedicated doctors and nurses when you are diagnosed with a condition requiring special support. Also as part of this programme, you have access to our Chronic Condition programme to help you better understand, manage and improve your condition, and our Decision Support programme which gives you access to global medical experts for advice on your individual diagnosis and treatment plan.
